SI 13 Acupuncture Point Applications and Theory

The acupuncture point "SI 13" , 曲垣, is represented by "Qu Yuan" in pinyin and "Crooked Wall" in english and may be found:

At the medial extremity of the suprascapular fossa midway between SI 10 and the spinous process of T2.

Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

Local point for shoulder and/or scapular region pain, weakness and/or stiffness. Useful for chronic shoulder problems.

SI 13 may potentially be used, in coordination with a well designed acupuncture treatment protocol, to influence the following conditions: Shoulder Pain
