Acupuncture and Pregnancy

I am just curious to hear people's opinions on the use of Li4 and Sp6 in end term pregnancy, say 35-36 weeks+.

Do you use them?

What for?

Have you ever had problems using them?

Personally I avoid them on every pregnant patient regardless of how late in the term they are. It's easy to find substitute points to achieve a particular outcome, why take a chance?

Due to potential liability issues...

... and because so many patients have had difficulties getting and/or staying pregnant, I don't use them, just to be on the safe side.
