Ren Dong Teng TCM Herb Classifications and Usages
The TCM herb "ren dong teng" which in english is 
"honeysuckle stem", is categorized within the "herbs that clear heat and relieve toxicity" functional grouping. It is thought to enter the large intestine, lung and stomach channels and exhibits cold (han) and sweet (gan) taste/temperature properties.
