TCM Herbal Formulas That Regulate the Qi
TCM Herbal Formulas That Regulate the Qi:
Below you will find common Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulas that are used to regulate the Qi. The formulas in this category work to either move congested or stuck energy in the body or to direct it in the correct direction as in rebellious qi (which is qi heading the opposite direction as in a cough or vomiting). They may be used for conditions ranging from cough, asthma and wheezing to plum pit qi, chest pain and menstrual pain. As they are generally warming and moving they should not be used after the initial imbalance is rectified.
