Extraordinary Vessel - Four Gates Pattern

  • Principle Signs:
  • Bilateral subcostal tension
  • Bilateral rectus abdominus muscle tension
  • LV 14 and ST 27
  • Symptoms:
  • LV Yang Rising, h/a, flushed face
  • Anger Issues - too much or too little, inappropriate
  • Blood Stasis
  • Energy circulation issues - legs hot and hands cold or vice versa
  • Digestive issues
  • Treatment Points:
  • Treat Bilaterally, may have to change polarity with this treatment.
  • LI 4 Black - found much closer to the joint than in TCM.
  • LV 3 Red - found much closer to the joint than in TCM.
  • Use LV (UB 18) & LI (UB 25) Shu Points.
