Five Phase - Liver Deficiency Cold Pattern

  • Root Treatment Points:
  • Technique: touching, #00 or #0 needle, approx. 1mm insertion, retain approx. 5 minutes
  • Yuan Source Points - KD 3 & LV 3 or
  • Luo Connecting Points - KD 4 & LV 5
  • Common Symptoms:
  • Small eyes
  • Sighing
  • Timidness
  • Lack of decisiveness
  • Poor appetite, but can eat
  • Cold extremities
  • Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
  • HT Heat - tonify GB 41
  • SP Cold - tonify SP 1 & ST 42
  • LU Cold - tonify LV 4 & KD 7
  • KD Cold - tonify UB 58, UB 59 & UB 65
