Acupuncture for horses and dogs

Published on 07-21-2010

"MaNoSe" is an acupuncturist who lives in Sweden - this is their first post.

I have been trying to find information on the theory of diagnosis when working on animals. Anybody knowing where to find info about how to make a tcm-diagnosis on horses and on dogs?

Sincerely,

kishintai

Generally with animals I use local/systemic points as a true tcm diagnosis is quite difficult to come by with the absence of communication. Additionally you are usually treating muscular-skeletal issues and/or anxiety problems which are relatively easy to treat with common points. You may want to look into our section for related texts that go deeper into the subject.
