Hi-

Is it okay to Tong Ren tap around the CV14 area. I have a blockage in that area. I know it is a large network of nerves. If not is there another way to address that area.

Thanks

Sam

Yes you can use the Tong Ren in a local pain/blockage way as you are doing. However, the vagus nerve connects with the celiac plexus and we generally use the points in the ST 10, 11, 12 area to have a stronger effect on this important nerve and related blockages in the abdomen. You may get further along with using those points. CV 14 is more for heart/anxiety issues and generally we use the back points to effect the nerves with the hammer, the front points we often use the laser to tonify those areas, particularly points such as CV 4, CV 6, CV 12 - with CV 12 possibly being helpful in your case.
