What is persons CF?

Properly a very stupid question. My english is not 100%, so i tried to figure out what CF means in “Once a persons CF is decided upon, the acupuncturist may begin treatment”.

There are no stupid questions.
In the article where I think you pulled that quote from (here), about a paragraph up from that you see “The diagnostic foundation of classical five element acupuncture is the theory of the causative factor or CF”
The CF idea is essentially the same as what we call the root factor or root diagnosis in TCM terms. The beginning/deepest imbalance driving the causative factors that lead to disease.
