Our new forums are located at community.yinyanghouse.com. There will be a host of changes and upgrades to our site over the next few weeks, but the first part is a needed upgrade to our forums. Now they work well on mobile devices, you can use your social login identities to post, reply by email, etc. We hope you find our new system a better way to engage with our community.
A couple notes:
- The new forums are located at community.yinyanghouse.com
- You will need to create a new user account (or login with a social identity) – no accounts from our existing system will be moved over.
Our current forums are locked down and will no longer allow any posts or comments.
Please enjoy the new system and we hope that the other new changes coming up only make the site that much more useful (even if there will be some inevitable disruptions during the changes…). If you have any troubles let us know.
We have many new changes coming with the yin yang house website and our community functions. So with change, there may be some confusion and possibly some issues, so we are letting you know as we make incremental changes to our site.
First, we have created a new mobile ready sub site for our local clinic in Chattanooga. You can reach this by going to http://clinic.yinyanghouse.com/ or if you are lazy, simply http://yyh.ch/ .
Second, we have created a new store site that works better with mobile devices and has some enhanced functionality. This is accessible by going to http://store.yinyanghouse.com/ or you can now shop within our facebook fan page.
We hope you enjoy these new subsites and we will be working on enhancing the community aspects of our current site as well as improving the theory sections of our site to increase readability. If you have any problems or issues, please let us know.

Many of our patients have already seen Tricia around the office at this point, but I’d like to formally welcome Tricia Autry, LMT to our practice. Tricia has over 10 years of experience as a massage therapist and will be providing private massage appointments as well as assisting us with the medical massage that follows each acupuncture appointment.
You can read a brief bio of her on her massage therapy page. If you would like to make a private appointment with Tricia, please contact us.
Beginning Tuesday December 3rd, we will be hosting an ongoing Centering Prayer study group following our Tuesday meditation session. Meditation is from 7-7:30 (following our open qigong exercise class and tong ren healing class) and the centering prayer group will be from 7:30-8. The format will be a guided discussion across the realm of Christian contemplative traditions as well as resources from other traditions. There will be small amounts of “homework” that will blend well with integrating a daily practice of centering prayer into your life.
For more details, please see our centering prayer page.
As many of our patients have already figured out, we have recently switched to a new calendaring system that allows for online scheduling, appointment reminders and a host of other features. You can of course continue to call or email us for appointments, but we hope this system will make the entire scheduling process much more convenient for you, our patients.
The system we are using comes from fullslate, which after much consideration among competing products appears to meet our needs the best and have the easiest client scheduling, including mobile friendly layouts. So we hope you like it.
To schedule online, reschedule and/or reserve spaces in a class you can go to http://book.yyh.ch/ or click on the “schedule online” button within our clinic pages http://clinic.yinyanghouse.com/ . If you have any questions or problems, please let us know.
