Five Phase - Kidney Deficiency Heat Pattern

  • Root Treatment Points:
  • Technique: #1, #2, or #3 needle, approx. 3-5mm insertion, retain approx. 10 minutes
  • Water Point - LU 5 & Metal Point - KD 7 w/KD 1 to descend the Qi and Water Point - KD 10
  • Common Symptoms
  • Large, reddish/black ears w/red between eyebrows
  • Balding
  • Bloating
  • Edema of the legs
  • Easily surprised
  • Nighttime urination
  • Palpitations
  • Diarrhea w/o abdominal pain
  • Excessive sexual activity
  • Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
  • LV Excess - disperse LV 2 & LV 8
  • HT Heat - disperse PC 4, tonify KD 2
  • SP Heat - disperse SP 8 & ST 36
  • LU Heat - disperse LI 2, LI 4, LU 5 & LU 6
