Five Phase - Spleen Deficiency Heat Pattern
- Treatment Points:
- Technique: #0 or #1 needle, approx. 1mm insertion, retain approx. 10 minutes
- Yuan Source Points - PC 7 & SP 3
- Common Symptoms:
- Edema in the joints
- Yellowing around the mouth
- Dry, coated tongue
- Manic-depression
- Bad breath
- Diarrhea w/abdominal pain
- Weakness of the extremities
- Related Patterns & Treatment (in lieu of controlling cycle):
- LV Heat - disperse GB 36, GB 38, TH 3, TH 5, LV 3, LV 5
- HT Heat - disperse SI 6, SI 7
- LU Heat - tonify PC 5, SP 5 & LU 10, disperse LU 5 or LU 6
- KD Heat - tonify SP 9, disperse UB 40, UB 63 & UB 65
