Uses: Thirst, Dry mouth, Chronic Cough, Constipation.  Replenish the Root Teapills (Gu Ben Wan) is traditionally used to treat dryness of the lungs, stomach, intestines, and mucous membranes.  It is used to relieve the symptoms associated with dryness such as thirst, dry mouth and throat, dry skin, chronic cough, and constipation.  It is used for deficiency Qi and Yin marked by hectic fever coughs and cough with blood, poor health, involuntary sweating, night sweating, and lack of strength.*
