The TCM herb "bu gu zhi" which in english is "psoralea fruit", is categorized within the "herbs that tonify yang" functional grouping. It is thought to enter the kidney and spleen channels and exhibits acrid, bitter (ku) and warm (wen) taste/temperature properties.
