How yin edema changes to yang edema n vice versa?

Edema is two type non pitting n pitting type.

Non pitting edema are yang type, pitting type is yin type

If I am wrong kindly correct me.

Most things are taken into context of the entire person as well as the general etiology and progression of the symptoms.  In very general terms, yin edema is slow onset, long duration symptoms, yang edema is quick onset which may, over time, become yin edema.  There are far more nuanced diagnoses in relation to edema, but most only make sense in the full context of a given individual and their diagnosis in broader terms and their symptomatic/health history.
