Hi i know you posted a long time ago but did all your symtoms completely clear after 8 months ? Im in similar situation and im worried sick

Hi Amy-- Yes, all the symptoms cleared after 8 very very long months. It was an eternity During that time I did not do any acupuncture.

Its been 2 months for me i honestly dont think i can cope much longer its making me so depressed… dont want to remind u but what was ur symptims? Im having tingling from head to toe and muscle twitches… feels like things crawling over me and burning above my left eye… i really dont think mine will go im crying every day and praying it goes :(… thank you for replying x

Thanks i keep reading horror stories online from ppl saying that their symptoms never went away… i seem to be getting new symptoms every other day… i just hope and pray… did you get muscle twitches?

Ok well thank you for ur help i will give it a bit more time… its been a long rough 8 weeks i do feel so depressed about it all… i have a 3 year old daughter and ive lost interest in everything im no good at coping with things like this… i just pray things will improve

Thanks i am trying so hard not to worry but every day it seems like theres new symptoms… my head is tingling and i never even had needles put in my head! Im.convinced its never goinh to go… im so grateful for ur help

Did u worry that u were never goin to get better? I really cant stop worrying. Ive tried meditating… massage… exercise… did anyone suggest to u y u got them symtpoms after acupuncture? Nobody can tell me what is wrong i really dont know how much more i can take of this… im sorry to trouble u im just at a loose end

Hi its me again… sorry… trying to stay calm as poss. Symptoms still here… im just wonderinh did anyone ever mentiom to you about blocked energy in your body or ‘qi’ i spoke to another acupuncturist and she said thats whats wrong with me lol i dont understand it all… i just want it to go

Thanks… i am just absolutely terrified this will never go away and that ill never be the person i was. I am trying so hard ! I read stories on medhelp site of people never getting back to normal and its freaked me out. Did u have any sensations on your head face ? I had no needles in my head but its like i am affected from head to toe thanks for replying

Ps did ur symptoms gradually decrease over time or did they just go away over night? Its strange its like my symptoms change all the time. Thank you for taking time to reply to me it helps when you speak to someone who knows what i am talking about

Felt like it was waste of time going to neurologist today! I dont think he knows whats wrong… he just said twitching is common didnt say much about the other symptoms… he said nerves take a while to settle down…he said to wait for few more weeks if no better he will send me for mri and nerve conduction studies… i still feel im stuck with this forever. If the sensations in my head would go away id be alot calmer

I thought id let u know i seen neurologist today he doesnt quite know what is wrong with me lol but anyway he did mention it sounds like i have benign fasiculation syndrome (which would explain the muscle twitching ) i didnt have this before acupuncture but im hoping it will all settle down but my muscles have been twitching for weeks now and feels like legs are vibrating its so annoying. But as yours went away it gives me some hope

Sorry me again ! I am a torture i know but i can assure you im not some weirdo im just lookinh for as much reassurance and help as poss. I meaning to ask you did u not struggle to sleep at night ? It seems worse when i ly in bed or wen try to relax. Dr prescribed me tablets for anxiety but i dont want to yake them i want to fight this !

I will indeed… i even feel like my face is numb sometimes… i do have hope this will go away but theres still some doubt that im permanently damaged in some way… my legs twitch 24/7its creepy !!

Im finding it really hard to cope im getting sensations all over my face and head… i never had needles in head… im so scared ive been up being sick all night with worry

The burning was awful at the start it comes and goes now… its more twitching and crawling sensations i get now… did u get any sensations on ur face or head ? My scalp tingles and twitches and areas of my face… this is so scary if it doesnt go away i cannot live like this forever

Yeah my burninh is off and on seems to be bad in mornings… i spoke to experienced acupuncturists she said that my stress and anxiety prolonging the process my body stuck in flight or fright and she went on about blocked energy etc… i am a worrier anyway so for me this is just hell !! Im prob a little impatient too and doesnt help reading horror stories on internet i have stopped myself from googling anything ! Neurologist said it can take nerves a while to heal if nervous system is upset… i already have tinnitus which is enough to deal with lol

Twitching is really annoying me now… literally twitching from head to toe its almost constant in my legs!! Drs do not believe acuouncture caused this. Did u take any vitamins or anything to try help ? Im literally just hanging on here living in hope this nightmare will end soon

Things are really not good for me at the minute… i dont think my drs believe me and that im making it up… burning is back worse than ever all over my body ! So hard to sleep its like electric current from head to toe… i dont know what to do i cannot go on much longer… im sure doctors think i am crazy

Did your burning last the full 8 months? My burninh so bad in arms and legs again really bad at night and in mornings… cant believe its been 4 months… i dont know how you coped for 8 months
