Acupuncture for Foot Tattoo

I have a patient interested in trying acupuncture to reduce the pain while getting a tattoo on the foot.

I’m not very familiar with anesthesia acupuncture.

Which points would you recommend?

It would of course depend on the patient. Probably the easiest to apply in a situation like that would be ear points and the ones that will have the most anesthesia effect, generally speaking, would be:

  • Shen Men
  • Master Cerebral
  • Thalmus
  • Tranquilizer Point
