Acupuncture is well known for the treatment of stroke and other brain injuries. You should see an acupuncturist at least weekly in your area, ideally one who has some experience with neurological issues. They are commonly dealt with in Chinese Medicine so even if the practitioner doesn’t have a lot of clinical experience their training in most cases would have discussed the nature of these treatments in detail.
