Lung condition question on theory

I thought I would post this to get someone’s take on it and someone out there might learn something. It’s starting to get pretty cold here in the eastern US. I have noticed here for a while my nose “phlegm” if that would be correct. Please correct me if not. Anyway it’s been clear with some white, now that’s cold. Whether internal or external wind. Today I noticed one nostril was yellow. Now that’s heat, internal or external. Am I right on this? I keep the back of my neck covered. Where the vent for cold wind is. Can there be cold and heat?
