Pain on acupuncture points

hello

zhat is the meaning of pain with palpation on acupuncture points? i'm talking about serious pain, without probing too deep. should that point be massaged or stimulated by pressure? i'm talking mostly about points that are near joint on muscles.

Pain with palpitation means the needle is on the artery or vein&#39s wall, it is very painful, the needle should be lift up and change an other direction down to avoid the blood vessel.
