I have compiled a page of useful information in the section. Acupuncture can be used on people from infancy through to old age and can help a very broad range of problems. Within pediatrics we often use tuina (chinese massage) along with needling. Personally I use herbs very infrequently with young children except in some more serious illnesses. The one exception to this herbally is the use of pearl powder which can be helpful in developmental and behavioral issues with very low chances of side effects. We will either use the herb in powdered form, or in the lozenges that we have created.
