Root canal infection

By Archived User | Updated: Dec 31, 2021 | Published: Dec 31, 2021

Hi I’ve a blister at the side of my gum and it’s been there more than 2 months. Ive done an xray and dentist said it is due to root canal infection.
Recommended to have REDO root canal or extraction and implant. Please advise if tcm will be able to help my issue. Thank you.

Dental infections can turn into extremely serious and possibly even deadly situations, so they should not be taken lightly. While there are herbal formulas and acupuncture treatments which have strong effects on the immune system, personally I would only recommend these to patients that have had repeated issues and/or who have previously responded poorly to western interventions.

Generally my suggestion would be to obtain proper western treatment, possibly utilizing acupuncture and/or properly prescribed/tailored herbal medicine to help avoid recurrences, calm inflammation and reduce pain.
