What is area 9 in acupuncture

could anybody explain what is AREA 9???

I’m not familiar with any system of oriental medicine that uses ‘areas’ as a designation. Where did you hear or read that and what was the context?

Maybe he meant the acupuncture point UB 9? That is a point that would make sense in helping to treat any type of neurologically based issues of motor control. Or maybe it is something entirely different - perhaps you’d have better luck if you can make contact with him or someone who has worked with him to get a better explanation.
