He Ye TCM Herb Classifications and Usages

The TCM herb "he ye" which in english is He Ye herb"lotus leaf", is categorized within the "herbs that clear and relieve summerheat" functional grouping. It is thought to enter the heart, liver and spleen channels and exhibits bitter (ku), neutral (ping) and sweet (gan) taste/temperature properties.
