Ma Huang Gen TCM Herb Classifications and Usages

The TCM herb "ma huang gen" which in english is "ephedra root", is categorized within the "herbs that stabilize and bind" functional grouping. It is thought to enter the lung channels and exhibits neutral (ping) and sweet (gan) taste/temperature properties.
