Acupunture and spine massage

I did acupunture yesterday for some pelvic pain I am having. He put needles in my head and down the spine. He also massage with some vigur my neck and down my spine on either side. Yesterday I felt a little uncomfortable but staring this after noon almost exactly 24 hours later I am have some pretty intense pain in my lower back and pelvis. I still this normal?
