Gastritis is very commonly treated with Chinese Medicine - both acupuncture and herbal medicine. Proper point selection and treatment, however, require proper diagnosis from a Chinese Medicine perspective (see treating the cause and not the symptoms).
While not directly related, our acupuncture for epigastric pain section will get you in the correct general area for possible diagnoses and treatment points.
In many cases some of the more useful points would be ST 36 and CV 12.
