Herbs for mindfulness

I wanted to see what TCM herbs would be suggested for mindfulness?  I'm dissociated to the point of it being a problem. I know when I remind myself to be present this helps a lot, specifically by talking out loud. The problem is it causes shortness of breath.

I appreciate any help in advance.
Thank you.

Hi, I wonder if the herbal formula Xiao Yao Pian would be helpful for you. It is a very common and generally very safe formula. It is very helpful to reduce anxiety. I was prescribed it by my acupuncturist and she said it was safe to use long term.  I find it helps me tremendously to be more present with myself and grounded.  It helps me to relax and be in the moment instead of trying to escape (fight, flight, freeze) . I take 8 tablets 3-4 times a day.

"TCM herbs can be a great support for mindfulness and grounding. Along with Xiao Yao Pian, you might also look into Suan Zao Ren (Zizyphus seed) for calming the mind and improving sleep, or Bai He (Lily bulb) for soothing emotions. If shortness of breath is an issue, herbs like Mai Men Dong (Ophiopogon) could help nourish the lungs and fluids.

That said, it's always best to consult with a qualified practitioner who can tailor recommendations to your specific needs. Hope you find something that works well for you!"
