Deafness in new born

It depends on what the cause of deafness is. If there are structural issues such as lack of ear bones or ear drums for example, acupuncture is not going to help. If there is under development of the brain there is a possibility that acupuncture could facilitate better functionality than if no treatment at all were done.

Also acupuncture is generally not done on newborns or very young children for variety of reasons. Tuina (Chinese medical massage technique) is the preferred method of treatment.
