There is rarely a way to describe the “best” points for a specific condition. The best points for a particular diagnostic pattern, maybe, but even that is a stretch. The best points are the most appropriate points for the individual patient at that point in time based on their diagnosis, history, response to previous treatments, etc. For more on pattern diagnosis, please read “What Does Acupuncture Treat?”. Many times these symptoms will involve the liver system, but there are many other possibly underlying causes that need to be ascertained and then proper points can be selected.
