My granddaughter Esther is 13. Yesterday she had a kidney transplant. Her kidneys failed due to Juvenile Nephronithicisis.
She's recovering, but has massive itching as a result of the pain drugs-first morphine, now dilaudid (hydromorphine).
Any suggestions for relieving the itching would be gratefully appreciated.

While there are points for itching, this is not an average cause for the symptom. If you are going to pursue Chinese Medicine you should consult locally with a professional acupuncturist and receive treatment initially. Afterwards, if appropriate, the practitioner will have various suggestions for things you can do to help your daughter, acupressure, diet, and otherwise.
