Hi everybody, have you ever heard of accupuncture points that cannot go together in the same treatment?
thanks in advance

Not exactly as a hard rule, but every single acupuncture point you would use in a treatment has to have a precise reasoning both in the context of the patient, their diagnosis in TCM terms, what other points you are using, and what exactly you are trying to accomplish in that particular treatment. There are many combinations where you could send more confusing or disassociated messages than a clear message - the body likes clear and direct messages.
Further there are many points or point combinations that shouldn’t be used in certain conditions (for example with strong deficiencies, when pregnant, etc.). Again, every point has to have a precise reasoning of why you are using it. Following “cookie cutter” protocols for various conditions is generally a way to get poor results or worse.
