Trauma from ancestors

By Archived User | Updated: Dec 31, 2021 | Published: Dec 31, 2021

Hi. I work as hypnotherapist and often see trauma follow ancestors line several generations back. Do Chinese medicine have any treatment, acupressure points that can help me working with this issue ?

Technically, yes, but it wouldn’t be something well accomplished with just acupressure nor would be it something you could generalize about as it would depend on the actual trauma or symptoms. The best would be to find a practitioner or two close to you and refer to them and work together to help the patients.

You might be interested in checking out the work of Bert Hellinger and his family constellations approach which puts a lot of emphasis on the energetic effects that ancestors can have. In terms of integrating any TCM techniques into your own practice that takes years of learning and training and I totally agree with Chad that it would be better to refer to local practitioners.
