Is writer’s cramps curable by acupuncture

Yes. Generally with a combination of acupuncture and possibly some dietary change. Without getting into too much detail acupuncture tends to work more broadly and systemically than working only locally. Writer’s cramp, or hand dystonia, is in many cases exacerbated by repetitive usage of the hands/fingers, but the problem generally starts far higher up with neck and shoulder tension and there are other factors such as systemic chronic dehydration (as an example) that can contribute as well. I suggest you see an acupuncturist in your local area, ideally one who also practices tuina (Chinese medical massage).
