Hi! I just started back with acupuncture treatments. It's been a few years since I had them. I have nervous system dysregulation diagnosed by another doctor... basically stuck in sympathetic dominance causing anxiety and physical symptoms. Also have severe muscle tension entrapping nerves and causing generalized pain. My acupuncturist said she couldn't feel my liver pulse and mentioned heart and circulation issue. My tongue diagnosis is scalloped, pale, and coated...she said I had dampness. I had the initial three treatments in one week and two more over past two weeks. I feel on edge all the time now. The anxiety is worse as well as constant fatigue. Feel wired and tired and stress intolerance is worse. I've had difficulty dealing with life in general. Also been occasionally disassociating and having brain fog. My last treatment was three days ago and I'm laying here buzzing all over. My nervous system feels wrecked. It's just worse than normal. I've told my practitioner and she said it's supposed to calm nervous system and maybe I'm just having a healing crisis. I'm seeking second opinion. My question is whether I should continue and push through it or is it actually making me worse? I didn't have this reaction a few years ago but my condition has also progressed since then too and current practitioner is using different points. I appreciate any advice.
