How do I correct an under active spleen using the law of the five elements

I would start by reading, “My spleen is what?” to better understand what is meant by the spleen system and then map that to what you mean by “underactive” and see what correlations there are, if any. Generally you are looking for what is causing the perceived weakness, not that it is weak - so seeing a practitioner who can properly deduce the true causal factors would be imperative towards proper treatment (see “treating the cause vs. the symptoms” for more).

It’s unclear exactly what you mean by “correct” - so, assuming you are asking about possible acupuncture approaches within the context of a five element approach (only one of many possible ways of looking at things within Chinese Medicine) - you may find our classical five element acupuncture section an interesting read.
