A boy of 12 years old having hole in his both ear drums from birth.
He is not feeling painful but it oozes out caramel color ear wax…
He feels Buzz… sound in his ears…
Is there possible to cure this PROBLEM by acupuncture needling??
If so can what is the SUCCESS rate pls.

Perforated ear drums can be treated with a combination of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine - whether or not it can be fully resolved or just better managed depends on a host of factors. While not the full answer, our otitis media treatment section has potential acupuncture protocols and herbal formulas which would have to be tailored to the individual.
There are also studies such as this one “Ninety-seven Cases of Perforation of Ear Drum Repaired by
Prick-acupuncture Using Needle in Combination with MEBO Paster” which showed good clinical effect (but would still be ideally tailored to the individual).
