Tongue with deep crack in the medium warmth of the limb body slightly red but in the center almost purple, toothmarks. Pain and musculoskeletal problems on the right side. 23 year old girl, dancer. Exhaust from swallowing.

As Thalassemia is a blood related disease and with the patient showing a purple tongue and teethmarks you’d probably want to start with points that nourish the blood (HT 7, LV 8, ST 36) and strengthen the spleen (SP 3, UB 20) and avoid strong moving points (like GB 34, SP 10). If you have access to moxabustion that would be good to supplement with the acupuncture.
