Do herbs intended for use in shrinking ovarian cysts/endometriosis delay or prevent ovulation? That is, do they decrease follicle growth? I am working with a small cyst, but also trying to conceive and want to take care not to inhibit natural ovulation. Many thanks for your response!

If you are using the correct formula(s) for your diagnosis from a Chinese Medicine perspective everything should be helped at once. You do have to be cautious of using too many strongly moving formulas - but if your diagnosis is of an excess nature and they support that formula choice then even those would be fine. Just make sure you are seeing a practitioner who is experienced with fertility.
