What do you recommend for a patient (53 years old) wich has 2 bypass and 8 stents ?
Before surgery medical tests was very good. All blood tests - very good. For patient was prescribed medication anticolesterol, anticoagulants etc. At present all medical tests are very good but the weight of patient increased by 8 kg. He wants very much to stop take so many drugs. I ask you what is good to do for health of heart and blood vessels and gradually to remove the dose of medication: acupuncture, tai chi, Qigong, Taoist internal exercises etc.
Thank you !

All the things you mention would be helpful. Tai Chi in particular has shown very beneficial for cardiovascular health. Acupuncture, properly applied can be helpful and Chinese herbal medicine (which would depend greatly on the tcm diagnosis) has formulas that include herbs like dan shen, such as fu fang dan shen wan, which can be extremely useful in the right cases. Consult with a local practitioner, ideally one who practices acupuncture, herbs and qigong/tai chi.
