Ye Jiao Teng TCM Herb Classifications and Usages

The TCM herb "ye jiao teng" which in english is Ye Jiao Teng herb"polygonum vine, fleeceflower vine", is categorized within the "herbs that nourish the heart and calm the spirit" functional grouping. It is thought to enter the heart and liver channels and exhibits bitter (ku), neutral (ping) and spicy (xin) taste/temperature properties.
