LV 11 Acupuncture Point Applications and Theory

The acupuncture point "LV 11" , 陰廉, is represented by "Yin Lian" in pinyin and "Yin Corner" in english and may be found:

2 cun below ST 30 at the proximal end of the thigh and on the lateral border of adductor longus.

Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Local point.
  • The LV 9 - LV 11 area may be reactive in women with fertility problems - moxa at LV 11 may be helpful.

While not necessarily valid clinically, ST 31 (ST 31, ST 32 & ST 33 are all useful for Bi-Sy…) are nearby.
