A single acupuncture point is not commonly thought of as an empirical way to influence a TCM diagnostic pattern. ST30, however, is a strong candidate to be incorporated into an acupuncture protocol for patients who exhibit: Stomach Dampness, Stomach Food Stagnation and/or Stomach Qi Deficiency

ST 30 may potentially be used, in coordination with a well designed acupuncture treatment protocol, to influence the following conditions: Abdominal Pain, Amenorrhea (Absence of Menstruation), Borborygmus, Digestive Issues, Dysmenorrhea (Menstrual Pain - Cramps), Erectile Dysfunction (ED), Gastritis, Genital Pain - Swelling, Hernia, Impotence (Erectile Dysfunction), Irregular Menstruation, Running Piglet Disorder and/or Uterine Bleeding

While not necessarily valid clinically, CV 2 ( Generally useful for Deficiency and Cold-Type…), KD 11 (KD 11, KD 12, KD 13, KD 14 & KD 15 all inters…), SP 12 (Used for a variety of urinary disorders (retentio…) and SP 13 (Abdominal pain, abdominal masses (fibroids, cysts…) are nearby.
