The acupuncture point "GB 11" , 頭竅陰, is represented by "Tou Qiao Yin" in pinyin and "Head Portal Yin" in english and may be found:

Posterior and superior to the mastoid process at the junction of the middle 1/3 and lower 1/3 of a curved line connecting GB 9 to GB 12


Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:

  • Local Point, usually for headache

  • Intersection Point of the GB, UB, SI & TH Meridians
