The acupuncture point "GB 17" , 正營, is represented by "Zheng Ying" in pinyin and "Upright Construction" in english and may be found:
On the head, 3.5 cun above the anterior hairline and 2.25 cun lateral to the midline of the head (1.5 cun posterior to GB 16).
Of many possible clinical applications, it may be considered to influence the following issues/symptoms:
- Clears Heat and Regulates the Gallbladder.
- Headache, Dizziness
While not necessarily valid clinically, UB 6 (Local point generally for headaches and vision is…) are nearby.
