The acupuncture point "UB 30" , 白環俞, is represented by "Bai Huan Shu" in pinyin and "White Ring Shu" in english and may be found:
1.5 cun lateral to the GV line, level with the 4th PSF.

A single acupuncture point is not commonly thought of as an empirical way to influence a TCM diagnostic pattern. UB30, however, is a strong candidate to be incorporated into an acupuncture protocol for patients who exhibit: Kidney Yang Deficiency
UB 30 may potentially be used, in coordination with a well designed acupuncture treatment protocol, to influence the following conditions: Back Pain, Dysmenorrhea (Menstrual Pain - Cramps), Endometriosis, Hernia, Irregular Menstruation and/or Leukorrhea
